Take a moment to read this. It’s the heartbraking story of how the COVID lockdowns affected one particular town in New Mexico. It incluldes the tragic details of a happy, popular, star quarterback who committed suicide because of the despair he felt over not being able to go to school or play with his team. His name was Kooper Davis and there is no doubt in my mind that he would be alive today if we had not locked the country down last Spring. Unfortunately, Kooper’s story is not an unusual one as teen suicides and opiod overdoses have skyrocketed under the COVID lockdowns.
So my question is this… if, as the lockdown Karens screech, anyone who refuses to wear a mask shares moral culpability for the deaths of people they’ve never met or interacted with, then doesn’t it also follow that officials who ordered state lockdowns (and the Karens and Kyles who supported them) share the same moral culpability in the unnecesary deaths of thousands of kids like Kooper Davis?
