How the consequences of school closings will be used against us

The closing of American schools over COVID was a disgrace.

Yes… yes it was. A year of remote distance learning has been disastrous for all American kids, but all of the available data shows that it’s been even worse for poor kids and kids of color.

And a decade from now when we begin to see the consequences of these school closing… when studies show a growing achievement gap between rich and poor, white and non-white, we’ll be told that it’s the fault of “systemic racism” and not the craven indefensible positions to close schools, and keep them closed, taken by awful human beings like Randi Weingarten.

Heads they win; tails you lose.

You can book it.

GREAT MOMENTS IN GASLIGHTING

By the way… check out this headline in the NYT… “President of Key Teachers’ Union Shares Plea: “Schools Must Be Open” in Fall

As if Randi Weingarten herself has not been the key impediment to the re-opening of schools all along.

Other headlines soon to appear in the NYT:

“Napoleon Shares Plea: “The 1812 invasion of Russia must end.”

“Kim Jong-Un Shares Plea: “The persecution of North Korean dissidents must end.”

“Chocolate Bon Bon Addict Shares Plea: The expansion of my wasitline must end.”

These people are shameless, and worse, they think you are stupid.
