This bad…
Like, I’d rather be Joe Biden’s sign language interpreter bad…
Entertainment Tonight ran a commercial on Hugh Hewitt’s show Monday morning in which an announcer said “plus… what you didn’t see on the MTV movie and TV awards last night…”
“What you didn’t see…”
Guys…
They know no one is watching. But I guess what’s most amazing to me is that even though no one is watching, and they know no one is watching, they are still basing entire show segments on programming that no one is watching.
If E.T. was a stock, I’d be selling.
(And before you come at me, yes I realize that E.T. was probably trying to sell their own backstage access here, and not actually acknowledging that their audience probably didn’t watch the MTV awards show. But given that Award Show ratings in general have been a big story in the mainstream press lately, they might want to have a conversation with their Copy Writers, because the optics of that radio Ad are not good)
