Apparently, when I wrote this, I wasn’t thinking big enough. It’s gotten so bad that even the Muppets are in danger of being disappeared down the Memory Hole, now. Sheesh.

Jodi Shaw: American Hero
I think a lot of us have a sense that there is something deeply wrong in America. The sense that there is an army of half-assed mediocre-brained wannabe authoritarians sweeping through our institutions using fear, intimidation, and cancel culture to reshape those institutions in their own vaguely Marixist, and entirely stupid, image. A lot of… Continue reading Jodi Shaw: American Hero
The Saturday Night Story (#2)
Welcome back to the Saturday Night Story. Tonight, please enjoy a portion of one of my short horror stories titled VINE WORLD… you can buy the E-book version of the full story here. VINE WORLD The Vines came almost all at once, on a warm otherwise unremarkable summer night twelve years ago. Teddy didn’t remember… Continue reading The Saturday Night Story (#2)
Whatever you do…

Rush Limbaugh: one more thing
I’ve spent most of the last 48 hours processing the fact of Rush’s death and it’s only now that I’ve had a chance to sit back and reflect on the meaning of his life. What did I get from Rush Limbaugh’s show over the years and why did I remain a listener and fan for… Continue reading Rush Limbaugh: one more thing
George was right: Part 5467
One of my first posts was about the modern phenomenon of Left Wing book burning. Well that was two weeks ago… This is today. BLM activist fired from Library job after burning books by Conservative authors. Just a reminder… if you are burning books, you are the villain in the story. Also.. George was right.
When the batter won’t swing
If you’re over thirty-five and I ask you to mention three famous running gags from Saturday Night Live during the late 70’s and 80’s, there’s a good chance that SNL portrayals of Presidents Reagan and Ford will be on your list. Chevy Chase as Ford struggling to answer questions and falling down, and Phil Hartman’s… Continue reading When the batter won’t swing
R.I.P. Rush Limbaugh
RUSH LIMBAUGH, dead at 70. Sadly, I had a feeling this was coming when he did not return this week after his last “treatment week.” I’ve been listening to Rush for 30 years, since I was 18-years-old. As he did for many Conservative Liberty-minded Americans he helped me to understand, in the days before the… Continue reading R.I.P. Rush Limbaugh
OK fine, it’s not Genocide… now what?
Last week the Economist spent a thousand words explaining to us why, techincally, what the Chinese are doing to the ethnic Uyghurs is not genocide. Their argument is that a genocide requires that the offending regime be actively slaughtering people. Otherwise it’s just (gasp!) “persecution.” On the one hand, I think this a weird hill… Continue reading OK fine, it’s not Genocide… now what?
Subtle Media Bias
I’m seeing something interesting in all the coverage of the implosion of the world’s most famous political grift, The Lincoln Project. What I’ve noticed is that even in coverage hostile to the Lincoln Project, and in outlets that are generally sympathetic to The Right, they continue to refer to the Lincoln Project founders as “Republican… Continue reading Subtle Media Bias
